Mark and his wife Chris have lived in Superior since 2014 with their twin boys, Dylan and Jackson. During the summer months, the Lacis family enjoys hiking and biking can be regularly found at our pools where Dylan and Jackson are members of our local swim team—the Rock Creek Flyers. During the winter months (when not recovering from knee surgery), they spend their time skiing.

Mark has served on the Town Board since 2016 and was elected as Mayor in November 2022. When he’s not busy “Mayoring,” he volunteers his time teaching stock market investing at Eldorado PK-8, plays drums in a local band, and is attempting to learn how to play piano.

Mark grew up in New Jersey and is a die-hard New York Giants fan. He was raised on a steady diet of hard rock and heavy metal, and is a recovering lawyer by trade.
